Taking a Breath

It’s been so busy the last few months! I’m finally getting a bit of a break right now and it is nice! Although I am about to start a website build which will take up a considerable amount of time. I love it though. *Remind me I said this when I’m banging my head against the desk when I run into coding issues! HA!

It’s Spring today. Happy Spring! Last week I celebrated my 45th birthday on St. Patrick’s Day. I don’t feel 45 and I am told all the time I don’t look 45. Many people think I am still in my thirties! I’ll take that! 🙂

Excuse my over-use of exclamation marks please. I know I am wickedly excessive with it.

On Thursday last week, I drove down to Fond du Lac to meet up with my friend Diana who celebrated her birthday on the 14. We thought we’d meet for lunch at Schreiner’s and then drive over to Lakeside Park to enjoy the beautiful day.

It was a much needed respite from the craziness that has overtaken my life lately!

Friday, I went with friends and my daughter to see “Beauty and the Beast” which is my very favorite fairytale from my childhood. The movie was enchanting and gorgeous. I loved it. While the weather was less than favorable on my birthday, the day was quite nice.

Right now I’m trying to get back into my blogging and writing. I find I am looking forward to this again which is nice because for the longest time, I felt I had nothing to say any more. But that’s not always true, is it? We always have something to say – in some way, shape or form.

I hope all is well with you. I hope you are having a wonderful day and that this week treats you kindly. 🙂
