#cultivate15 – Let Go of Old Frames – Day Three

Evaluation & Cultivating Self-Care:

Let go of old frames: How are you framing yourself, your relationships, your community, and your dreams? Could you reframe these as begin 2015? What do you need to let go of to cultivate your best life in 2015?

I’m getting involved more than I have in the past. Last year I joined a fundraising committee at my daughter’s school that I really enjoy being a part of.

I was also involved in county party politics (again) as it was an election year but really, I don’t care to be a part of that any longer. It’s not fun anymore. Rather, it has become far dirtier and more rotten than ever. Too many of the people involved are toxic. I don’t want anything to do with it aside from helping my mom out where she needs it. The sooner I can untangle myself from the political involvements I have, the better.

  1. I’ve found that politics can be such a toxic subject. People express such hatred towards others who disagree with their opinions, and it’s definitely an energy zapper. That being said, I can definitely understand why letting go of that entanglement would help you better cultivate a life worth loving.
