Our bodies are vast machines for storing: memories, toxins, dreams. What physical rhythms will you follow to loosen your scar tissue, heal old wounds, and stimulate the birth of new cells?
Close the Door
In order to move on and accept what lies ahead, we need to close the door on the past.
It’s a difficult thing to do.
We worry we won’t be the same.
But really, we aren’t.
We aren’t the same person we were ten years ago, five years ago, one year ago or even yesterday.
That’s not necessarily a bad thing!
“Isn’t it nice to think that tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet?” ― L.M. Montgomery
This life truly is a journey.
Rather than fret about the things we’ve done or didn’t do, we need to open ourselves to the possibilities of today and tomorrow.
We can only do that when we close the door on yesterday and open the door to tomorrow.
I’m participating in Cultivate 2014. It’s a chance to reflect and manifest what lies ahead in 2014. Won’t you join us? Sign up here.
