It didn’t turn out how I had hoped. But that was yesterday and today is a new day. It is not the time to cry over spilled milk. It is time to roll up our sleeves and get to work. The real work is right in front of us.
We can choose to wallow around in the muck of frustration and bitterness or we can choose to focus on the road ahead and lay new groundwork for our future. I choose to focus on the positive. I choose to focus on what we can learn from this election. I choose to do something about it and not allow others to define who we are as a party.
I am tired of the vitriol. I am not going to allow that to impede the work we must do to right this ship.
Enough with the name-calling, the hate, the judging, the labeling and the closed minds. Enough. That goes for BOTH sides of the political aisle.
Today IS a new day. And boy, am I thankful for that. 🙂
**This is part of 30 Days of Thanks created by my friend Amanda over at Me, my dogs, my life
Every day throughout the month of November we will post something we are thankful for.
