We as Americans are fortunate enough to live in a place where we the people are free; where exists such a notion as equality and choice and where freedom of and freedom from are common in thought – a place where the blood and sacrifice of generations before remain forever etched in the collective memory. This blood that once flowed freely through the veins of the brave men and women fighting in distance wars on foreign soil long since passed, no longer flows today but in those choice few who continue on in the footsteps of their predecessors, fighting still for continued liberty and against remaining injustices. As long as we remember, as long as we pay homage, there is no death but that of the physical realm. These patriots, the spirit of their courage & their tenacity, will live on for eternity.
