Thankful, Honored & Passing it Along

I received a very nice surprise today from a friend I met through Reverb 10 this last December.  It is the Stylish Blogger Award, and Noel Rozny over at French Christmas is the one who thought enough of me to include me in this wonderful honor!  I’m very thankful to have been introduced to so many fine writers and bloggers through Twitter and Reverb 10. They make each day special and the circle of friends I am making online has become extremely important to me.

From Noel Rozny (French Christmas)
I am passing it (Stylish Blogger Award) on to you because I love your blog and want to get it read by even more people. See my recent post for the list with your blog on it!

So here are the rules for acceptance of the award:

1. Thank and link back to the person who awarded you this award.

2. Share 7 things about yourself.

3. Award 5 recently discovered great bloggers.

4. Contact these bloggers and tell them about the award.

There is a button that goes with the award. Click on mine and copy the properties into your own blog.

Soooo, here are some various little tidbits about me that you may or may not find interesting or maybe it will just convince you all the more that I am just a great, big, lovable dork!
1. I worked as a cook out in Montana on a guest ranch & in the Bob Marshall Wilderness for several years.
2.  I like the smell of skunk.
3.  I am fascinated with anything and everything that has to do with Mount Everest.
4.   I grew up with a timber wolf and a blind grey wolf as our pets.
5.  I worked as a campaign manager on a congressional campaign, I’ve also been a campaign scheduler on different congressional campaign. I have degrees in both broadcast journalism and political science and have worked in both fields.
6.  I dream of starting my own children’s magazine and also starting an online “newspaper” of sorts.
7.  One of my other secret dreams is to work for Joss Whedon as part of a writing collaborative.
And there you have it – just a smattering of things about me. Now on to the special part – naming five other bloggers who impact my life day-to-day and who deserve to be read by millions! (in no particular order)
I met all but one of these people through Reverb 10.  The other person I’ve known almost my entire life and his blog is one I hope everyone checks out.
My deep appreciation and love to you all! Now get out there and pass it on!
-Tracy

  1. Thank you! I don’t know really what to say, except I am so thankful for the people I have met through #Reverb10. The connections I’ve made and the things I have learned are something that I truly treasure.

  2. Thank you sooo much! I’m so glad to be caught up and able to stay up to date when everyone writes. Reverb10 people have brought new meaning to writing online for me.

I’m really fascinated by the online newspaper and the kids’ mag. Any chance you can move forward on either of them this year? (I love projects.)
