Look at this tree. Do you know where this picture was taken?
I love how gnarly and massive this tree is. Without leaves, we see its true character and it is uniquely beautiful.
Do we notice the truth in others? Do we take the time to notice? Do we reveal our own truth or keep it hidden. Why do we hide it? What is your truth and have you denied it or is it free for all to see?
I’m still discovering my own truth. I’m still finding out who I am – even at 38. Yes, believe it or not, I am just now starting to realize all this.
This is the time of my awakening. I’m not upset that it has taken this long to realize.
I would be more upset if I lived my entire life never discovering who I am or what I am all about. Believe me, I still have a ways to go.
We protect ourselves by masking our pain, by covering up that zit on our face, by throwing on frumpy, oversize clothes to hide our weight.
We see ourselves through a tainted lens. And too often, that image we think we see is not at all what others around us are looking at or seeing.
Remember to be kind to yourself. Love yourself. You are perfectly perfect in your own wonderfully unique way. There is no one else like you.
See your truth and let it be seen.
