Spring is in the air. There is but one day left in February and then it will be March – the month of Spring – the month to celebrate all that is green. March is also host to a slew of birthdays in my family. I was born on St. Patrick’s Day and my husband, just four days later. Then we have his grandparents, nieces, nephews, my dad, my brother and friends also celebrating their birth … see what I mean?
When I was little and too young to understand what St. Patrick’s Day was all about, I thought it was a huge celebration on my behalf, reason being that everything was green – my favorite color. Mint is the flavor of the month and also happens to be my favorite flavor. See how a young child could get this idea into their head?
The funny thing about March is that the weather can go both ways. Spring is just around the corner and yet Winter just loves to tease us by showing that it still can take over at any time. Here’s hoping that this March brings us the springiest of Spring weather and a sky decked out in the bluest of blues with plenty of sunshine days to make up for the Winter drear.
