Mid-Week Musings

It’s hard to maintain a high level of positivity day in and day out. I know that first-hand. I spent the better part of January really focusing on raising my level of positivity and trying to re-discover the things I am passionate about.

One thing I do know is that happiness is what you make of it. It’s very much like a garden. It needs to be nurtured and tended to each and every day otherwise it will wither. It’s also easy to lose track of one’s goals and plans for their life. So in order to get back on track, I created this vision board. It’s not the most artistic in nature but my aim was to make a board that contained a lot of positive affirmations as well as the things I want in my life.

The nice thing about a vision board is there is no right or wrong way to make one. This is my first but it will not be my last. I plan to create another board with the idea that I am a magnet attracting things to me that I would like in my life. Since I am a highly visual person, this whole process is highly effective for me. It’s not so much material things I want – although a never-ending supply of books is always high on my list – it’s more about believing that I can achieve all the things I want to achieve. Everyone should feel that way.

My vision board hangs on the wall in our living room as a constant reminder to be positive, to reach out and grab that which I want and to not hover in the shadows of life. It is up to me to make it a reality.

  1. I love this! I too am a very ‘visual’ person, this is often what inspires my writing.

I am hoping there is something significant in the fact that ‘Soar’ and ‘Literary Genius’ are the words that stand out to me on this vision board. Hoping that’s a signal of what’s in store πŸ˜‰

Lovely, positive post. I’m going to get myself one of these boards!

    • Hi Kelly! Thank you very much for your kind comments! Good luck on your vision board. I do hope you will post it when you finish it. I find it so inspiring to see what others come up with. I hope you’ll keep checking back. I look forward to hearing more from you! Have a terrific day!
